Job description Executive Chef -
Restaurant & Banquet Operations Position Overview:
We are seeking an accomplished and innovative Executive Chef to lead the culinary operations of our upscale hotel, including our signature restaurant and banquet/events services. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for creating exceptional guest dining experience, while ensuring operational excellence, team development, and cost-effective kitchen management. The ideal candidate brings a blend of creative flair, strong leadership, and extensive experience in both à la carte and large-scale banquet environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Menu Development & Execution:
Create and execute diverse, seasonal menus for the restaurant, room service, and banquet events that reflect culinary excellence and cater to a wide range of guest preferences
Culinary Operations Management:
Oversee all food production including preparation, plating, presentation, and quality control across the restaurant, bar, banquet kitchen, and events
Banquet & Event Catering:
Design and manage customized menus for weddings, conferences, corporate functions, and special events, ensuring timely and flawless execution for groups of all sizesRecruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff across all outlets; foster a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and continuous improvementManage food and supply inventories, vendor relationships, and ordering systems to control costs while ensuring freshness and availabilityMaintain a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen environment in accordance with all local health and safety regulationsWork closely with the Food & Beverage Manager, Banquet Manager, and Front-of-House teams to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction

Proven experience as an Executive Chef or senior culinary leader in a hotel, resort, or multi-outlet dining operation Expertise in both fine dining and high-volume banquet production Exceptional organizational and time management skills; ability to balance daily operations with long-term planning Strong leadership with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse culinary team In-depth knowledge of food trends, kitchen systems, costing, and vendor management Commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences through culinary excellence Proficiency in kitchen management and inventory software Bartending knowledge is a plus Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred ServSafe or similar certification required
