Supporting Chef

About Us The Cattleman's Club Steakhouse is a small, family-owned restaurant known for premium cuts, classic steakhouse techniques, and warm, personal service. Role Summary As a Supporting Chef, you'll assist the head and line chefs to ensure our kitchen runs smoothly and every dish meets our high standards. You will work across stations to prep ingredients, support grill and butchery tasks, execute simple menu items, and help maintain kitchen organization during service. Full-time applicants are ideal; flexible to discuss part-time opportunities.

Skills and Competencies:

Basic knife skills and knowledge of cooking methods (grilling, sautéing, frying). Strong time management and ability to work under pressure. Attention to detail, consistency, and good palate for basic seasoning. Team player with clear communication and willingness to take direction. Cleanliness, reliability, and professional kitchen etiquette.

Performance Indicators:

Consistent, timely prep and delivery of assigned tasks. Low error rate on portioning and recipe execution. Adherence to safety and hygiene standards. Positive feedback from line cooks, sous chef, and service staff.
