Compensation:
$47,000 - $54,000 AnnuallyFresa's Chicken Al Carbon is an Austin Original, offering a modern take on the classic Mexican chicken al carbon. Our wood-grilled meals, complete with homemade tortillas, authentic salsas and traditional rice and beans, are both healthy and satisfying.Fresa's is currently looking for a talented Sous Chef that is dedicated to consistency, and experienced in leading a culinary team. This is a unique concept that handles both high volume & full service catering. The Sous Chef works alongside The Executive Chef and team members in a contemporary style kitchen, ensuring that the highest standards of food qualities are met.
Qualifications1 year of experience as a sous chefExperience with purchasing, and controlling labor. Excellent communication skillsDemonstrating solid cooking technique and ability to manage high volume productionExperience with catering is a plusBilingual English/Spanish a plusJob ResponsibilitiesCultivating and leading a team of cooksOrganizing and maintaining a clean kitchenPreparing Foods and adhering to Recipes StandardsPlacing orders and writing prep listsManagement of Kitchen AssetsWorking with the Executive Chef on all aspects of
