Your expertise will ensure an exceptional dining experience for our guests by delivering flavorful, beautifully presented meals in a lively, energetic environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills while contributing to a fast-paced, customer-focused restaurant setting. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with a focus on hibachi-style cuisine, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate. Execute menu items efficiently while maintaining high standards of food presentation and flavor. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards. Assist in menu planning by suggesting innovative dishes and refining existing recipes to enhance guest satisfaction. Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, portioning, and plating ingredients with precision. Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed at all times to uphold safety regulations and prevent cross-contamination. Support catering events and special functions by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality standards. Demonstrate excellent knife skills for efficient prep work and precise cutting techniques. Contribute to a positive team environment by serving as a role model for professionalism, enthusiasm, and dedication. Qualifications Proven experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is highly desirable. Strong background in culinary arts with fine dining experience preferred. Extensive food preparation, cooking, and food handling skills within the restaurant or food industry setting. Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and food safety protocols is essential. Previous kitchen experience in a fast-paced environment is required; Hibachi or Japanese cuisine experience is a plus. Excellent knife skills coupled with the ability to execute multiple tasks efficiently under pressure. Familiarity with catering services, serving procedures, and food industry standards enhances your suitability for this role.
