Executive Chef About Big-Dill Hospitality Big-Dill Hospitality is a family-owned restaurant group known for its exceptional culinary experiences and commitment to hospitality. Our portfolio includes Muchacho Tex-Mex, Whistle Britches Southern Kitchen, Even Coast, Casa Brasa, and Kamilla , with Tío Tacos al Carbon and Maroma on the horizon. With several exciting projects in the pipeline, we are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of dining in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to lead our culinary operations. This individual will bring creativity, leadership, and operational excellence to our kitchen—setting the tone for an exceptional food culture rooted in consistency, precision, and innovation. The Executive Chef will play a vital role in menu development, team training, and ensuring flawless execution of our culinary vision. Key Responsibilities Oversee all kitchen operations, including production, quality, and presentation. Lead, train, and mentor a high-performing culinary team focused on excellence and consistency. Collaborate with ownership and management on menu development and seasonal changes. Manage food and labor costs, ensuring profitability without compromising quality. Maintain impeccable cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in compliance with health regulations. Foster a positive and professional kitchen culture built on teamwork, accountability, and respect. Source premium ingredients and maintain strong relationships with purveyors and local partners. Uphold brand standards and contribute to the ongoing success of the concept. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Sous Chef in an upscale or fine dining, full-service concept. Strong culinary foundation with expertise in seafood and coastal cuisine preferred. Proven track record of managing high-volume kitchens with excellence. Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Strong financial acumen and understanding of cost controls. Passion for hospitality and a commitment to guest satisfaction.
