Pastry Cook

NOBU, the world-renowned Japanese Restaurant, is looking for a full-time, evening Pastry Cook to join its Dallas location. A Nobu pastry chef crafts high-end desserts and baked goods blending traditional Japanese ingredients with classical French techniques. Responsibilities involve precise recipe execution, strict sanitation, and station management to maintain Nobu's global luxury standards.

Menu Production:

Prepare and present pastries, desserts, ice creams, and breads according to established Nobu guidelines.

Station Management:

Maintain an organized, fully stocked, and sanitary workstation compliant with health and food safety codes.

Quality Control:

Ensure flawless plate presentation, accurate portioning, and strict consistency during high-volume service.

Collaboration:

Assist the Executive Pastry Chef with recipe development, inventory rotation, and training junior staff members. Applicants must have 1+ years of pastry experience in a high volume and upscale establishment. Candidate must be able to stand for long periods of time and be detail-oriented. This position requires that the applicant be punctual, communicate effectively, and maintain composure while multi-tasking in a high-stress environment.
