About ConfessionsConfessions Restaurant & Lounge is an upscale dining and nightlife destination known for elevated Southern cuisine, innovative culinary experiences, premium cocktails, and exceptional hospitality. We are seeking a visionary Executive Chef to lead our culinary program, inspire our kitchen team, and elevate the guest experience through creativity, consistency, and operational excellence.

Position SummaryThe Executive Chef is responsible for overseeing all culinary operations, including menu development, food quality, kitchen leadership, staffing, inventory management, food cost control, and compliance with health and safety standards. This role requires a hands-on leader who can execute at a high level while building and developing a strong kitchen culture.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead all kitchen operations and culinary executionDevelop, test, and implement new menu items and seasonal offeringsEnsure consistency, quality, and presentation of all food leaving the kitchenManage food costs, labor costs, and kitchen budgetsRecruit, train, coach, and develop kitchen staffCreate schedules and manage labor efficiencyConduct daily line checks and quality control inspectionsMaintain inventory levels and oversee purchasing and vendor relationshipsEnsure compliance with all health department, sanitation, and food safety regulationsEstablish and enforce recipes, prep procedures, and plating standardsWork closely with ownership and management to drive guest satisfaction and profitabilityMaintain an organized, clean, and inspection-ready kitchen at all timesFoster a positive, accountable, and performance-driven kitchen cultureQualifications10+ years of Executive Chef or Senior Kitchen Leadership experience and culinary school completion Experience in upscale, high-volume restaurant environmentsStrong leadership, coaching, and team development skillsProven track record managing food and labor costsExtensive knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operationsStrong organizational and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work nights, weekends, and holidaysServSafe Manager Certification preferredWhat We OfferCompetitive Salary & Performance BonusesCreative Freedom and Menu Development OpportunitiesCareer Growth OpportunitiesEmployee Dining DiscountsLeadership Role in a Growing Hospitality BrandDynamic, High-Energy Work EnvironmentIdeal CandidateWe're looking for a chef who is passionate about creating memorable dining experiences, developing talent, maintaining high standards, and continuously pushing the culinary program forward.
