Job Summary We are on the lookout for a passionate and detail-oriented Line Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items with precision, following established recipes and presentation standards. Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients to ensure efficient kitchen operations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of your work station, adhering to food safety and handling protocols. Support meal assembly and plating to ensure timely delivery during service hours. Help with inventory checks, stock rotation, and reporting shortages or issues to management. Follow all health and safety regulations to create a safe working environment for everyone. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent food quality. Skills Previous experience in food industry roles such as restaurant or catering environments is highly valued. Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices. Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and cooking methods, especially in fine dining or similar settings. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams.
