Executive Chef - Japanese Sando & Café Concept Sando Lab Richardson, TX Job Details Full-time $20 - $35 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Profit sharing Qualifications Café Japanese Cost control Korean Staff training Full Job Description Job Description We are looking for an experienced chef to help develop and lead a premium sandwich concept inspired by Japanese-style sandos and modern café culture. The ideal candidate should have experience in: Menu development and recipe creation High-quality sandwich preparation Protein preparation (chicken, beef, turkey, etc.) House-made sauces, spreads, and dressings Kitchen operations and food cost management Training kitchen staff Maintaining consistency and presentation standards Fast-casual or café experience preferred Japanese, Korean, or modern fusion experience is a plus Responsibilities Create and refine signature sandwich recipes Develop prep systems for efficient operations Source ingredients and manage food costs Train future kitchen staff Ensure quality control and consistency Assist with kitchen layout and workflow Help launch and scale the concept Preferred Background Executive Chef Sous Chef Kitchen Manager Chef from a successful café, deli, sandwich shop, or modern fast-casual restaurant Experience with Japanese sandos, katsu sandwiches, milk bread, or premium sandwich concepts is highly preferred Compensation Salary, profit-sharing, equity partnership, or a combination depending on experience and involvement.
