This role is a key part of our back-of-house operations, ensuring excellent food quality, efficiency, and adherence to company standards.

Start Date:
Upon onboarding completion. All required pre-employment notices and documents will be provided at or before the start date, as required by law. Key Responsibilities Prepare and portion fish, seafood, and sushi ingredients according to restaurant quality and portioning standards Ensure freshness, proper storage, and consistent product quality at all times Prepare dishes in a timely manner and present them with attention to detail and aesthetics Support daily prep tasks, including sushi station setup and end-of-day breakdown Assist with inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and restocking supplies Maintain strict adherence to food safety guidelines and sanitation standards Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth and consistent service flow Qualifications Minimum 1 year of sushi preparation experience, including fish filleting and slicing skills Ability to work in a high-volume, fine-dining sushi operation Quick learner with the ability to adapt to restaurant standards rapidly Strong team communication and coordination skills. Strong attention to detail, sense of urgency, and table awareness. Ability to move quickly, stay organized, and support multiple tables during busy service periods. Ability to follow instructions, food safety procedures, sanitation standards, and company policies. Friendly and professional attitude with a willingness to support guests and teammates. Flexibility to work late-night shifts, weekends, holidays, and changing schedules as needed. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, carry, and move throughout the dining area for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Fluent in English. Bilingual skills are a plus.
