We invite you to join our Team of incredible individuals that provide a unique level of cohesion and synergy that makes dinning with us a wonderful and unforgettable experience! We are looking for a highly skilled individuals to prepare sushi dishes in accordance with Kumori standards. The Sushi Chef will prepare traditional Japanese sushi rice, chopping, slicing, and filleting various kinds of fish and place orders as needed. If you are interested in developing your skills to grow within our company then this is the job for you!
Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor quality of products and services produced Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies Maintain health standards for raw and finished products Expertly cutting, slicing, and filleting different types of fish Preparing various types of sushi dishes according to established guidelines on quality, portion size, presentation, and food safety Maintaining a clean work environment in order to prevent food contamination Selecting ingredients Ordering and receiving merchandise and controlling inventory Daily preparation of work in the department
Qualifications:
Previous experience in food service or other related fields Knowledge of common food safety practices Strong leadership qualities Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and communication skills
Pay:
$13.00 - $16.00 per hour
