Tips Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Event Chef to oversee food execution during events. This role requires strong organization, professionalism, and customer service skills to ensure all food service runs smoothly and meets client expectations. The Event Chef will be responsible for transporting food and equipment, setting up service areas, and ensuring all event specifications are properly executed.

Responsibilities:

Arrive on-site on event day as scheduled Transport food and necessary equipment to event locations Unload and properly set up food and service stations Communicate with client or designated point of contact upon arrival Ensure all BEO (Banquet Event Order) specifications are followed Maintain the highest level of customer service during events Monitor food presentation and service throughout the event Pack up all food, equipment, and supplies after service Leave the venue in the same condition as arrival or cleaner Return to kitchen facility after events Ensure kitchen is cleaned after returning from events Unpack equipment and store items in designated locations Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

Qualifications:

Previous catering or event chef experience preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to follow detailed event instructions and timelines Reliable transportation suitable for transporting event items Valid driver's license required Ability to lift and transport equipment as needed Ability to work evenings, weekends, and varying event schedules Professional appearance and attitude

Compensation:

$25 per hour + Tips Part-Time /
