Duties Prepare a variety of sushi including nigiri, sashimi, maki rolls, and specialty items with precision and artistry Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and food hygiene in all food preparation areas Develop new sushi recipes and menu items that excite and satisfy our guests' palates Manage ingredient inventory to ensure freshness and minimize waste while adhering to quality standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours Educate team members on sushi techniques, presentation, and culinary best practices Ensure consistent presentation and portion control for all dishes served Experience Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar culinary role specializing in Japanese cuisine Strong knowledge of sushi ingredients, techniques, and traditional preparation methods Experience in curriculum development or training others in culinary skills is a plus Familiarity with kitchen management, including inventory control and safety protocols Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Background in culinary arts with formal training or certifications preferred Passion for continuous learning about new sushi trends, ingredients, and presentation styles Embark on an exciting journey where your culinary talents create memorable dining moments!
