Job Description

We are looking for a Pastry Chef who is great at leading a team, quality minded, positive, ambitious, and detail oriented. Experience required, with a proven track record of consistent quality production and ultimate care for what you produce. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in culinary arts with a passion for sweet and delicious creations. They must adhere to health and safety standards to provide clients with the best possible serving.
Key Goals of Position:
Serve safe food, this is your primary goal Prepare a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread etc. following traditional and modern recipes Create new and exciting desserts to renew our menus and engage the interest of customers Manage a kitchen which produces for 7 a la carte locations, a storefront and special events. Exceed Guest expectations. Ensure the best food quality possible. Control food, labor and equipment costs. Staff and train the best kitchen talent possible Maintain a positive work environment and professional atmosphere. Find and create improvements in the cost and quality of the products, ingredients and processes used. Own your kitchen. Keep it buffed, clean and in good working order. Adhere to and enforce all company policies.
Necessary Capabilities:
Strong leadership skills. Strong culinary background. Strong work ethic. Interpersonal skills. Lift up to 50 lbs. Stand, walk, lift, carry on a daily basis. Physically able to work for up to 14 hours/day. Basic administrative skills;
