Duties Assist the Executive Chef in managing all kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and service standards Supervise and train kitchen staff during shifts, providing clear guidance and support to ensure smooth workflow Oversee food production processes, ensuring adherence to recipes, portion control, and quality standards Manage inventory control and ordering to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing waste Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold rigorous sanitation practices across all kitchen areas Coordinate catering events, banquet functions, and special dining occasions with precision and professionalism Lead menu planning efforts by collaborating on new dishes and seasonal offerings that delight guests and reflect culinary trends Experience Proven supervisory experience in a high-volume restaurant or hotel kitchen environment Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining cuisine and food presentation techniques Familiarity with banquet operations, catering services, and dietary department protocols Demonstrated skills in food management, inventory control, and cost efficiency strategies Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively Knowledge of food safety standards such as HACCP or ServSafe certification preferred Experience in kitchen management roles involving shift management, food handling, and restaurant operations Embark on a rewarding culinary journey where your leadership fuels exceptional dining experiences.
