This pivotal role combines hands-on food preparation with leadership responsibilities, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation are maintained across all dining experiences. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a passion for culinary excellence, and demonstrate strong team management skills. In this role, you will support kitchen operations, oversee food production, and contribute to creating memorable dining moments for our guests. Paid position with opportunities for growth within our vibrant hospitality setting. Duties Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards, ensuring consistency and excellence in every plate served Supervise kitchen staff during shifts, providing guidance on food preparation, safety protocols, and efficient workflow management Assist in menu planning and development to keep offerings innovative and aligned with guest preferences Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs Oversee food safety practices by adhering to sanitation standards, proper food handling procedures, and regulatory compliance Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely setup, execution, and quality assurance for large-scale functions Lead by example in maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment conducive to productivity and safety Support the dietary department by accommodating special dietary needs and ensuring appropriate food handling procedures are followed Qualifications Proven experience in full service environments with a strong background in food production and kitchen management Supervising experience within a culinary or hospitality setting is highly desirable Extensive knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling and sanitation. Serv-Safe Certification will be required. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively Experience with inventory management, menu planning, catering, and shift management is preferred Strong culinary skills across various cooking techniques; experience with banquet or large-scale event catering is a plus Familiarity with the food industry's standards for quality control, service excellence, and hospitality best practices Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Some administrative responsibilities will be: preparing payroll, maintaining tip share records, tracking daily sales categories, etc. Join our team to elevate culinary experiences through passion, precision, and leadership!
