In this role, you will be responsible for preparing authentic and innovative sushi dishes that delight our guests and elevate their dining experience. Your expertise in sushi preparation, knife skills, and presentation will be essential in creating visually stunning and delicious offerings. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities Prepare a variety of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese-inspired dishes with precision and artistry Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and used efficiently to minimize waste Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station in compliance with health regulations Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer service and timely food delivery Develop new sushi recipes and presentation techniques to keep menus innovative and appealing Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and communicate needs for replenishment Uphold food safety standards by practicing proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures Requirements Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar culinary role specializing in Japanese cuisine Strong knife skills and knowledge of sushi rolling, slicing, and plating techniques Familiarity with food safety standards and proper sanitation practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and a positive attitude Culinary experience with an emphasis on seafood preparation is highly desirable Knowledge of ingredient sourcing, storage, and inventory management related to sushi ingredients Join us if you are eager to craft exquisite sushi dishes that captivate both the eyes and palate!
