Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Sushi Chef to join our dynamic culinary team! As a Sushi Chef, you will be at the forefront of creating authentic, visually stunning sushi dishes that delight our guests. Your expertise in sushi preparation, knife skills, and culinary artistry will elevate our dining experience. You will be responsible for crafting high-quality sushi while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation. Responsibilities Prepare a variety of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes with precision and artistry Maintain a clean and organized work station in accordance with health and safety regulations Select fresh ingredients and ensure proper storage to uphold quality standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate orders efficiently during busy service times Innovate new sushi recipes and presentation techniques to keep menus exciting Educate team members on sushi techniques and culinary best practices Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management Requirements Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar culinary role specializing in Japanese cuisine Strong knife skills and knowledge of sushi preparation techniques Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation procedures Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent attention to detail and artistic flair for food presentation Knowledge of ingredient sourcing, storage, and freshness standards Passion for culinary arts, especially sushi-making, with a desire to innovate and improve skills Join us if you're eager to bring your sushi mastery to life in a vibrant setting where creativity meets craftsmanship!
