Known as a landmark spot, we pride ourselves on delivering memorable culinary experiences and exceptional hospitality. Job Overview We are looking for a passionate and motivated Assistant Chef to join our culinary team. In this role, you will support the head chef and kitchen staff in preparing high-quality dishes, managing food safety standards, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about food, experienced in fine dining environments, and eager to develop their culinary skills within a dynamic team. Responsibilities Assist in preparing and cooking menu items, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards. Support food production activities, including plating and garnishing dishes for service. Help manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or spoilage. Supervise food handling practices to maintain safety and hygiene standards across the kitchen. Collaborate with team members during catering and banquet events to deliver excellent service. Contribute to kitchen management tasks such as shift organization, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance. Assist in menu planning and food preparation for daily service, special events, or dietary requirements. Requirements Proven experience in food production, kitchen management, or restaurant settings; banquet experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures. Previous supervisory or team management experience within a culinary environment. Familiarity with fine dining standards, catering operations, and inventory management systems. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced hospitality setting. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude to support team success. A background in the food industry with expertise in culinary techniques, menu planning, and shift management.
