We blend the comforting charm of an American neighborhood spot with the elegant techniques of a French bistro. Our menu features elevated comfort foods, from perfect steak frites to seasonal local dishes. We are looking for a passionate culinary leader. Someone who wants to create memorable meals and foster a positive, high-energy kitchen culture.
Culinary Excellence:
Design and update menus that mix classic French techniques with modern American flavors. Ensure every plate meets high standards for taste and presentation.
Team Leadership:
Recruit, train, and mentor the kitchen staff. Build a positive team culture based on respect, learning, and hard work.
Daily Operations:
Oversee all food prep and kitchen line operations. Manage the kitchen during busy service times to ensure food comes out fast and fresh.
Cost & Inventory Control:
Manage food costs and kitchen labor budgets. Order high-quality ingredients from local farms and vendors while minimizing waste.
Health & Safety:
Maintain a spotless, organized kitchen. Enforce all health and safety rules so the kitchen always passes inspections.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
2 years of experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Sous Chef in a busy, high-volume restaurant.
Culinary Style:
Deep knowledge of classic French cooking techniques (sauces, butchery, braising) and modern American dining trends.
Leadership Skills:
Proven ability to train staff, manage schedules, and keep a cool head during a busy dinner rush.
Business Smartaps:
Experience tracking food costs, managing inventory, and working with spreadsheets.
Certifications:
Current food safety manager certificate preferred.
