  • Full-time We're looking for an energetic and skilled individual to help our head chef in leading our team as a Chef of Sushi.
This is a 2nd chef position, working with a highly-experienced head chef. As a team, we all execute our brand's vision of presentation, quality, and value to our customers. As part of our team, you will craft rolls, nigiri, sashimi, donburi, combos, etc, but be a watchdog on freshness and quality of ingredients. The ideal candidate is passionate about presenting dishes that they are proud of in a professional and quick fashion. The ideal candidate must also value and pursue teamwork and communication. We highly prize a candidate who likes to help others but also is comfortable to receive help. Requirements Experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role within fine dining or Japanese cuisine settings. Ability to work with others in a fully collaborative manner We are a family run business so we have family lunches and sometimes dinner. Everyone here seems to be very food-focused and snacks are always around. You also have a 50% discount on a shift meal
