Location:
Virginia Beach, VA- local candidates only
Salary:
$60k-$70k

3 weeks in Washington, DC (company-paid) An elevated Mexican restaurant opening in Virginia Beach is seeking a Sous Chef to help lead BOH operations in a high-volume, scratch kitchen environment.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager experience in high-volume, upscale Latin or chef-driven kitchens Strong systems background (prep, ordering, scheduling, food & labor cost controls) Positive, collaborative leadership style and the ability to build and train teams Strong communication skills and experience with new restaurant openings
Responsibilities:
Support the Executive Sous Chef with all culinary operations and execution Lead daily production, quality control, and kitchen organization Train and mentor back-of-house staff to uphold brand and culinary standards Collaborate with FOH leadership to ensure a seamless guest experience
