Experienced Pastry Chef Yorktown, VA 23691 From $18 an hour - Part-time, Full-time From $18 an hour - Part-time, Full-time We're looking for a Pastry Chef to lead and develop our pastry and dessert program. You will help shape what pastry looks like at Lantern—from plated desserts to daily baked goods. What You'll Do Develop and execute seasonal plated desserts Build and maintain a small, focused pastry program for brunch and coffee service Produce baked goods (croissants, pastries, breads, etc.) or develop systems for them Manage prep, pars, and ordering for pastry Ensure consistency, cleanliness, and organization in all pastry production Collaborate with the kitchen on menu development Standards (Non-Negotiable) Clean, organized, and detail-driven at all times High level of personal accountability No drugs or alcohol on the job (zero tolerance) Respect for the team; no ego, no drama Ability to execute at a high level consistently What We're Looking For Strong foundation in pastry technique Creativity with restraint; refined, not overdone Ability to work independently and manage your own program Pride in craftsmanship and presentation Interest in seasonal, ingredient-driven cooking
