Job Description
Chef Dane Catering creates thoughtful, seasonal cuisine for weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations across the Seattle area. We're seeking a Dishwasher / Prep Cook who can thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume catering kitchen and assist with both hot and cold production. This role is perfect for a culinary professional who enjoys variety, precision, and consistency while supporting large-scale catering operations. What You'll Do Support prep and production for off-site catering events as needed. Follow Chef Dane's recipes and production standards with consistency and attention to detail. Bake, decorate, plate, pack, pastries and other baked goods Portion, pack, and organize products for high-volume catering. Occasional ingredient sourcing and shopping Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workstation. Label, date, and store products according to health department standards. Communicate clearly with kitchen leadership about prep lists, timelines, and priorities. Work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment, meeting production deadlines without compromising quality. What We're Looking For 1+ years of experience in a professional kitchen. Pastry experience is required. Catering experience is preferred. Comfortable with high-volume and cold production prep. Experience scaling recipes for large events. Available to work weekends and occasional nights for events. Spanish-speaking a plus. Strong time management, organization, and attention to detail. Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented. Ability to lift 50-75 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
