Job Description

Role OverviewAs the Beverage Director for Sea'd In, you are the architect of our guests' sensory journey. We are seeking a creative, hands-on leader who understands that a great drink program is an extension of the kitchen s open-fire and dry-aged fish ethos. This role is not back-office focused; you will be the face of our bar, crafting innovative cocktails, curating a thoughtful wine list, and spending significant time behind the stick engaging directly with our guests.
Core ResponsibilitiesBar Leadership & ServiceActive Bartending:
Lead by example with high-quality service during peak shifts.
Service Excellence:
Foster a "holistic hospitality" environment where the bar experience perfectly complements our moody, soul-music-infused atmosphere.
Staff Mentorship:
Train service staff on the nuances of our beverage program, including storytelling, pairing recommendations, and proper glassware/service standards.
Cocktail InnovationCreative Development:
Design and execute a seasonal craft cocktail menu that draws inspiration from our wood-fired cooking techniques (e.g., incorporating smoke, fermentation, or elements used in our kitchen prep).
R D:
Continuously iterate on recipes, house-made syrups, tinctures, and infusions to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
Wine Program CurationStrategic Selection:
Develop and maintain a cohesive wine list that pairs exceptionally well with dry-aged fish, focusing on producers and regions that resonate with our brand identity.
Inventory Management:
Oversee all beverage ordering, inventory tracking, and vendor relationships to ensure quality and cost control.
Staff Education:
Conduct regular wine trainings to ensure our team is confident and knowledgeable when guiding guests through our cellar selections.

Qualifications & SkillsPassion for the
Craft:
A deep-seated interest in flavor profiles, spirit origins, and the intersection of food and drink.
Proven Experience:
Demonstrated history of managing a beverage program, including wine list curation and craft cocktail development.
Hospitality-First Mindset:
Ability to balance technical drink-making with genuine, attentive guest interaction.
Collaborative Spirit:
A desire to work closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless flavor bridges between the fire and the glass.

This position required to work bartending during service hours and will be part of tip pool
