We Want Someone Who Is:
A culinary school graduate OR seasoned home cook A strong, self-directed worker with great communication skills Highly organized, efficient, and reliable Knowledgeable about a variety of cooking styles, techniques, and diets; willing to learn new methodologies as needed Tech-savvy or willing to learn company platforms Personable, friendly, fun, and supportive of a healthy lifestyle! Personal Chef Involves Doing:
Cooking in clients' home kitchens Consultations with new clients to learn of preferences Grocery shopping Submitting confidential written report to supervisor after each client visit Utilization of online menu planning & customer database software to prepare a custom menu plan for types, styles, and quantity of meals required by client Timely and proactive communication with clients using company email account (Office 365 applications) Home-entertaining occasions (i.e. birthday parties, holiday parties) Problem resolution to ensure complete client satisfaction
Scope of Work and Compensation:
Position entails 20-30 hours/week depending on business demand; please note that it may take a few weeks after hire to achieve this level of consistent work Position starts as part-time and has the opportunity to grow to full-time. Your enthusiasm and hunger to work will go far in this company! Each chef must commit to serving a minimum of 1 special event per month Candidates must be able to commit to Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday availability on a consistent basis Position reports directly to the Director of Operations and indirectly to the CEO Must have own personal vehicle to drive to clients' locations Must maintain current Washington Food Handler's Card (or ServSafe) and Class 12
