Job Description

Are you a responsible and experienced Lead Line Cook interested in taking the next step in your career? IL Bistro restaurant in the Pike Place Market is seeking a Full Time Lead Line/Sous Chef. The ideal candidate will have strong line cooking skills and experience with high-end proteins, as well as lightning fast saute ability and multi-tasking. Butchery of meats and fish as well as sauce and vegetable preparation are a plus. The food is Italian, but solid experience in European cuisine would translate. Responsibilities include some ordering and supervising a small staff on Chef's days off.

Compensation is competitive and each member of our culinary team is a valued asset to us. We are looking for a professional who takes total responsibility for a job. Please only apply if you have 5 years or more cooking in high volume or fine-dining restaurants.
