This is a casual sushi concept with some omakase-style elements. The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling sushi, rolls, prep work, and fast-paced service. Candidates with broader kitchen leadership experience may also be considered for a kitchen head or leadership role. This position is best suited for someone who can work quickly and efficiently in a busy restaurant environment, including weekends. Candidates who are already authorized to work in the U.S. are preferred, but applications from Japan may also be considered depending on experience and skill level. Positions Available ・Sushi Chef/Sushi Chef Candidate/Kitchen Head Candidate/ Kitchen Lead Candidate Main Responsibilities Prepare sushi, rolls, and related prep items Handle fish preparation and neta management Work efficiently in a casual sushi restaurant operation Support sushi service with omakase-style elements Assist with kitchen operations and workflow Maintain speed and quality during peak service Communicate and coordinate with kitchen and service staff Manage ingredients, sanitation, quality, and organization Requirements Experience as a sushi chef or in a Japanese restaurant kitchen Ability to handle sushi, rolls, and prep work Ability to work quickly in a busy service environment Availability to work weekends and flexible shifts Basic English communication skills for working with staff Ability to adapt to a U.S. restaurant operation Strong teamwork and professional attitude Preferred Qualifications Current authorization to work in the U.S. Interest in relocating from Japan to work in the U.S. Experience overseeing both sushi and general kitchen operations Experience as a head chef, sous chef, kitchen lead, or similar role Previous experience working in an English-speaking environment Compensation Estimated annual salary: $80,000-$100,000 Final compensation will depend on experience, skill level, and position. Schedule 5 days per week 2 days off per week Shift schedule may include lunch and dinner service Weekend availability required Location Washington State Bellevue / Seattle area Visa Candidates who are already authorized to work in the U.S. are preferred. Applicants from Japan may also be considered.

Selection Process After resume screening, selected candidates will be invited for an online interview. Depending on experience and location, an in-person skills assessment or trial may be discussed. Pay:
