- Prepare and create high-quality sushi dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients used in sushi preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station and kitchen area
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines in food handling and preparation
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing customer requests
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role within the food industry
- Strong knowledge of sushi preparation techniques, including knife skills and food handling
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- We are willing to train the right person, attention to detail and drive to improve is a must. Pay depending on experience.
- This is a tipped position.
