Executive Chef Benefits & Compensation Competitive salary based on experience Bonus opportunities Paid time off Employee meal discounts Health and wellness benefits Career growth opportunities Executive Chef Requirements & Qualifications Minimum 3-5+ years of Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager experience Experience in soul food, Southern cuisine, BBQ, comfort food, or scratch kitchens preferred Strong leadership and team development skills Knowledge of food cost controls and labor management ServSafe Certification preferred Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Excellent communication and organizational skills Executive Chef Preferred Background & Skills Catering and banquet experience Smoker/grill experience Multi-unit or franchise restaurant background Menu engineering and recipe costing experience Experience managing kitchen P&L performance Executive Chef Day-to-Day Responsibilities Lead all back-of-house kitchen operations, ensuring quality and consistency in every dish Develop and execute soul food and Southern-inspired menus, standardize recipes, and control portions Hire, train, and coach the kitchen team to create a positive, respectful culture Oversee inventory management, control food costs, and manage vendor relationships Ensure full compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations Coordinate prep, daily line execution, catering, and special event production If you are passionate about soul food and ready to shape an outstanding kitchen culture, we encourage you to apply.
