Job Description

Chef
  • experience required 1303 South Murphy Road, Janesville, WI 53548
Part-time, Full-time Part-time, Full-time Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented according to the restaurant's standards
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create new menu items and specials
  • Oversee the kitchen staff and provide guidance and training as needed
  • Monitor food quality and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as necessary
  • Assist with menu planning, costing, and budgeting
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Chef or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety practices
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality dishes
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Please note that bartending experience is not relevant to the position of Sous Chef.
We are a bar and restaurant that ranges from simple bar food to fine dining cuisines as well. We do Friday Fish Fry with cod, walleye, bluegill, shrimp as well as regular menu. Every Friday we also have a weekly special.
