Pay is based upon skill and performance and immediate increases are available for skilled culinary professionals. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality. Assist in menu planning and food presentation to enhance guest satisfaction. Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff during shifts, providing leadership and guidance to ensure smooth operations. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste. Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and proper handling procedures to ensure a safe dining environment. Oversee food production processes for catering events, banquets, and restaurant service, ensuring timely delivery. Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and restrictions effectively. Experience Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant or hospitality setting, with a focus on fine dining or catering preferred. Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Familiarity with inventory management, food handling safety standards, and kitchen operations. Strong background in culinary techniques including cooking methods, menu planning, and food presentation. Knowledge of food industry trends, dietary considerations, and hospitality best practices.
