Summary of Job Duties:
Reports to the Supervisor of Safety and Security and provide staffing for the multiple family hospitality, safety and security services provided by the Department. Safety and Security Ambassadors services include Hospital Information Desks, ICU Waiting Room Desks, NICU desk, PRI Information Desks, 2nd floor OR waiting room, Cart Drivers, Discharge Lobby Desk, Outside Greeters, One Day Surgery Desk, WPRCI after-hours desk, emergency department, outpatient center desk, a Concierge, and Ambassadors at all entrance points to the various buildings on campus. Safety and Security Ambassadors will monitor their working areas for safety and security concerns and report those concerns to their supervisor or the UAMS Police Department.
Qualifications:
High School, GED, or formal educational equivalent
Experience in Security and/or a Hospitality role in a customer service role.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skill
Strong customer service skills
Computer proficiency is required.
Perform work safely, following all company policies and procedures
Monitor work area for safety and security concerns.
