Job Description

THE OPPORTUNITY
Motiva Health is seeking a Doctor of Chiropractic for a premier placement within a high-end, private-pay integrative clinic in Atherton, CA. This role is designed for a sophisticated clinician who prioritizes evidence-informed care and the patient experience over high-volume throughput. Unlike traditional clinical models, this position offers a guaranteed salary based on a stable, established clinic environment. Your compensation is not tied to patient volume, billings, or "units" of care. This structure allows the provider to focus entirely on what matters: high-quality, effective, and transformative clinical outcomes.
TIME COMMITMENT
16-32 hours/week onsite 2-4 days/week • How those 2-4 days are organized is flexible. - (Proposed schedule M, T, Th, F) Expected start date: approximately 4 months out, following the credentialing period.
CLINICAL PHILOSOPHY
We are looking for a diagnostic-led clinician who can seamlessly collaborate within a sophisticated, evidence-based integrative environment. Our patient base is diverse, but the unifying factor is their expectation for a white-glove, intellectually rigorous clinical experience. CLINICAL FOCUS & SPECIALIZED SKILL SETS
The ideal candidate will possess a robust toolkit capable of addressing complex orthopedic cases, acute/subacute care and longevity-focused wellness. We prioritize a multimodal approach, including:
Advanced Joint Management:
Spinal and extremity manipulation and mobilization to optimize neuro-biomechanical function.
Targeted Myofascial Therapy:
Expert application of functional soft-tissue release, active mobilization techniques, and instrument-assisted (IASTM) protocols.
Neuromuscular Mobility:
Utilization of PNF, assisted stretching, and neuromuscular re-education to enhance motor control and range of motion.
Prescriptive Movement:
Development of sophisticated corrective exercise and rehabilitative programs for orthopedic prehab, recovery, and performance.
Functional Longevity Support:
Specialized care for healthy aging, including vestibular support, balance training, and strength & conditioning tailored to combat sarcopenia and maintain bone density.
Postural & Structural Support:
Implementation of biomechanical taping and kinesiology protocols to aid in recovery and proprioceptive feedback.
Behavioral & Lifestyle Optimization:
Providing ergonomic consulting, nutritional education for longevity, and patient-centered health advocacy.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Evidence-Informed Delivery:
Provide sophisticated care rooted in current literature and clinical rigor.
Concierge Patient Experience:
Manage a low-volume schedule that allows for extended 1-on-1 time and deep-dive evaluations.
Integrative Collaboration:
Act as a key musculoskeletal clinician within a multidisciplinary team, coordinating with MDs and specialists to provide a unified patient roadmap.
Lifespan Management:
Design protocols that address the specific needs of patients across their entire lifespan.
REQUIREMENTS
Doctor of Chiropractic (DC): Active California license in good standing.
Experience:
6+ years of clinical experience required. Background in concierge, geriatrics, sports medicine, or premium integrative settings is highly valued.
Clinical Integrity:
A commitment to safety-first, evidence-informed practice.
Communication:
Exceptional interpersonal skills; the ability to navigate complex clinical conversations with high-achieving, discerning patients.
Certifications:
Preference and compensation considerations given to candidates with advanced and specialized training (i.e., DACRB, DABCO, DACBSP, CCSP, CSCS, DACNB, and DABCI) American Heart Association Basic Life Support/CPR for Healthcare Provider/Professional Rescuer that is current or in process during the 4-month credentialing window
PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Job requires sitting, bending, lifting, walking, and standing for extended periods of time. The provider must have an adequate, full-body range of motion due to the potential of handling and lifting patients. Periodically, the provider may have to lift and carry equipment and items weighing up to 50 lbs.
COMPENSATION DETAILS
Salary:
$79,040 (guaranteed base) to $197,600 (full-time).
Stability:
Consistent schedule in a quiet, professionally curated clinical space.
Additional:
May require other clinical responsibilities as designated to support the integrative team. •Motiva Health is required to include an approximation of the part-time, full-time salary and benefits for all California positions for this role. Our estimated compensation for this position is: $79,040 - $197,600 annually. Part-time, full-time, qualifications, location, experience, and various other factors will be considered, as this range serves as a guideline.
