We're growing quickly and looking for someone who is polished, proactive, organized, and excited about hospitality, customer experience, sales, and marketing. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both people-facing hospitality and behind-the-scenes growth initiatives. You'll help support front desk operations while also assisting with customer retention, outreach, bookings, campaigns, and revenue growth initiatives across the business. Position Overview The Growth & Retention Coordinator is a hybrid role that combines front desk guest experience responsibilities with customer retention and revenue-focused follow-up.
This position helps support:
Client rebooking and retention Childcare and event inquiry follow-up Package and repeat visit growth SMS/email campaign support Guest experience and front desk operations Promotions and community engagement This is not a traditional "social media only" position. We're looking for someone interested in learning how a modern hospitality and service business operates and grows. Responsibilities Front Desk & Guest Experience Welcome guests and provide a polished customer experience Assist with booking appointments and answering customer questions Support front desk operations and communication between departments Help maintain an organized and professional environment Learn service offerings across the café, childcare, nail salon, and events Customer Retention & Revenue Growth Send rebooking and follow-up texts Follow up with childcare, package, and birthday party inquiries Help fill last-minute openings and cancellations Assist with customer retention and loyalty initiatives Support guest outreach and repeat visit efforts Marketing & Campaign Support Assist with Square email and SMS campaigns Support promotions, launches, and seasonal campaigns Capture light photo/video content for social media and stories Help promote events and community experiences Schedule & Hours Phase 1 (Training & Integration) 3-4 days per week Approximately 18-28 hours/week Primarily in-person This position will initially begin with a stronger focus on front desk and guest experience responsibilities in order to learn The Lullabar's operations, customer flow, systems, and overall hospitality standards. Over time, the role will gradually transition into a larger focus on customer retention, outreach, revenue growth initiatives, and campaign support. Long-Term Structure Typically 2-3 days per week Approximately 15-25 hours/week depending on business needs Flexible scheduling available for the right candidate. This role has strong opportunity for growth and may evolve into a full-time position as The Lullabar continues to expand. Qualifications Strong communication and organizational skills Friendly, polished, and professional demeanor Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment Interest in hospitality, customer experience, marketing, or business operations Social media and content familiarity is a plus Experience with customer service, sales, hospitality, or front desk roles preferred Familiarity with Canva, Instagram, email marketing, or CRM tools is a bonus Ideal Candidate You are: Proactive and detail-oriented Comfortable talking with guests and building relationships Interested in both operations and growth/marketing Organized and reliable Positive, adaptable, and eager to learn Excited about helping grow a modern lifestyle brand and community-focused business Compensation $20-$22/hour depending on experience Growth opportunities within the company Employee perks and discounts Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in hospitality, marketing, customer retention, and business operations Location The Lullabar Carlsbad, California To apply, please send your resume along with a short introduction about yourself and why you'd be a great fit for the role.
