Shift Available:
Full Time The Concierge assists all guests by providing a variety of services to them. They must consistently provide high-quality customer service in all their interactions with guests and families and act as a point of reference for said persons. Concierge also works with patients and their families to address any concerns or special needs that may arise during their stay or course of treatment. The position requires you to work directly with various members of the nursing department and administration to solve problems that patients and families may have with the goal of facilitating a positive patient experience and care during their time. Must be able to traverse varying situations the guests in our facility may present to them.
Essential Functions:
Effectively coordinate service-related activities to ensure organizational goals for customer satisfaction, and to minimize the escalation of complaints. Responsible for extensive facility rounds during the work shift to engage residents, families, and other visitors in conversation in order to ascertain if these individuals are happy with the care and services we provide. Possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must have the ability to defuse volatile situations resulting in win-win solutions. Must have good problem-solving skills and creativity. Must be a team-player and maintain a positive working relationship with all staff. Will possess excellent customer service, interpersonal and telephone skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must conduct oneself with a professional attitude and a willingness to accept new challenges. Must possess superior understanding of the Concierge role and its functions. Will work cooperatively with department directors, keeping appropriate individuals informed to assure follow through on both residents and families concerns. Will follow up on resident concerns to ensure they have been resolved. Responsible for giving tours of the facility to visitors. Will make sure new admissions are greeted with a welcome bag and escorted to their room, which should be clean and ready to take in the new admission. Will have an organized system of marketing, distributing, tracking, and maintaining the iPad Program with the residents. Must be able to provide excellent customer service and good judgement when dealing with residents, families, and visitors. Must have strong organizational skills to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner in accordance with performance standards. Will attend meetings as required. Will complete additional projects and assignments as they arise. Must be computer literate and have working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Outlook.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION /
EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma/GED required Ability to communicate effectively in English, Bi-lingual is a plus Excellent verbal communication skills Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
