Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Guest Experience:
Greet every guest with warmth, professionalism, and respect, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment from the moment they arrive.
Age & ID Verification:
Check government-issued identification to confirm customers are 21+, ensuring strict adherence to Minnesota cannabis regulations.
Check-In & Compliance:
Manage guest check-in through POS, verify purchase eligibility, and maintain accurate records in compliance with all state requirements.
Customer Service:
Engage with guests to understand their needs, answer questions, and connect them with sales associates while adding information about their needs into their profile.
Security & Safety:
Monitor entry and exit points, maintain secure access to limited access/restricted areas, and collaborate with third-party security during incidents or inspections.
Sales Support:
Work closely with budtenders to ensure smooth customer flow, assist during busy periods, and help guide guests through the purchasing process.
Store Presentation:
Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing front lobby and retail area that reflects Frostbites brand standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum Age:
Must be at least 21 years old, per Minnesota state law.
Experience:
1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, or security preferred.
Communication Skills:
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage a diverse range of customers in a clear, respectful, and professional manner.
Compliance-Focused:
Understanding of, or willingness to learn, Minnesota cannabis regulations, including ID verification, age restrictions, and purchase limits.
Conflict Resolution:
Comfortable enforcing compliance, handling sensitive situations calmly, and maintaining a safe, secure environment for all guests and staff.
Dependability:
Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Professionalism:
Consistently demonstrates integrity, discretion, and a customer-first mindset in all interactions.
Preferred:
Security, hospitality, or customer service certifications are a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for extended periods.

Ability to sit, type, and handle calls for extended periods.

Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
