Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
To oversee the cleaning and maintaining of public areas including restrooms, food and beverage outlets, the spa, associate break areas, hallways, lobbies, offices, outlying properties such as but not limited too Top of the Rock, Buffalo Ridge and other guest areas
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
To oversee the team assigned to the cleaning and maintaining of public restrooms, windows, ash urns, sidewalks, food and beverage outlets, the spa, associate break areas, lobbies, hallways, offices and other guest areas. To oversee the cleaning of the public space areas as outlined in the housekeeping manual and/or as directed by the Housekeeping Manager.1B Respond to guest request calls in a timely manner, during the shift. Maintain an awareness of all safety procedures and guidelines as they relate to guests and associates. Be knowledgeable of cleaning products and their proper uses with safety awareness. Provide professional, friendly service to all guests. Responsible for making the schedule and working closely with the Housekeeping manger to ensure the public space areas are maintained
ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Degree Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Years of experience: Valid MO or AR Driver's License
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. The ability to work well with a team, to prioritize, a sense of urgency and a real concern for guest satisfaction
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
25% of time will be driving around resort
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Regularly walks, stands. and lifts up to 50 lbs. Occasionally sits, and does computer work.
INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT
Performs duties within scope of general company policies, procedures, and objectives. Analyzes problems and performs needs assessments. Uses judgment in adapting broad guidelines to achieve desired result. Regular exercise of independent judgment within accepted practices. Makes recommendations that affect policies, procedures, and practices.
