Job Description
Bob Barker Company offers a beautiful café and patio for team members to relax, collaborate, and recharge while enjoying free coffee and healthy snacks. As Team Member Concierge, you will maintain a warm, welcoming, and clean environment for all team members and guests to enjoy. Responsibilities Manage all café operations including inventory, ordering, shopping, stocking, packaging snacks, organizing, and cleaning. Complete each item on the Cafe checklist as indicated (daily, weekly, or monthly) and submit it to the Sr. Director of People Support monthly. Assist with ordering food, setup, pickup, management, and cleanup for special meetings and events (Seminars, Board Meetings, Lunch and Learns, Barker Briefings, Celebrations, etc.). Greet each team member as they enter the café. Introduce team members who may not know one another. Distribute inbound packages to office team members. Inventory, Ordering & Shopping Shop for fresh fruit and vegetables as needed during the week. Maintain proper stock levels of coffee, perishable and non-perishable snacks, and supplies to avoid outages; order or shop for items as needed. Maintain proper inventory levels of Café supplies (Dishes, Mugs, Glasses, Silverware, Paper Towels, Paper Products, Hand Soap, Hand Sanitizer, Dish Soap, Cleaning Supplies, Dishwasher Detergent, etc.); order or shop for items as needed. Track all café expenses using Excel and ensure we stay within monthly budget. Manage Visa IntelliLink (credit card). Balance and upload receipts in a timely manner. Stocking & Packaging Prepare and package fresh vegetables for team members. Ensure proper storage of food, food quality, and temperatures by following appropriate food safety procedures. Restock snacks, coffee, and condiments as needed. Restock soaps and paper towels in the sink area. Organizing & Cleaning Ensure all common spaces are clean and organized; wipe down/sanitize all surfaces: Café, Water/Ice/Vending machine area, meeting & conference rooms, restrooms, Chapel, Fitness Center, and Patio. Run & empty dishwashers as needed; Clean dishwashers with dishwasher cleaner monthly. Clean and sanitize counters, tables, chairs, cabinets, drawers, refrigerators/freezer, water/ice/coffee machines, microwaves, and convection ovens as needed. Sweep and vacuum high traffic areas; Mop up any spills. Empty and take out trash as needed. Maintain a clean and organized storage area. Clean and prepare empty workstations in the office for new team members. Education/Certification High School Diploma or equivalent. ServSafe Certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification upon hire. Requirements Work onsite Monday-Friday from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM with occasional flexibility for events outside standard hours with advance notice. Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate a motor vehicle as an essential function of the role. Food service experience preferred. Knowledge of food safety, health, and sanitation guidelines. Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and Excel. Ability to work autonomously with little supervision and a high level of integrity. Positive, friendly attitude. Customer service oriented. Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
