Job Description

Our Mission To create an organization that sets the standard of excellence in the compassionate treatment of behavioral health and addiction disorders. Who are we? Since 2015, Nevada Behavioral Health Systems (NBH) has been providing mental health and substance abuse services to residents across Nevada. By collaborating with a diverse network of experienced behavioral healthcare providers, we have built a community-based care system that offers members personalized options tailored to their individual needs. In 2023, we rebranded as Novum/Health with the expansion of our services in Arizona, California, and Utah.

Guest Ambassador Schedule:
Swing Shift (1:30 pm - 10:00 pm)

Starting Salary Range:
$17 per hour The starting salary range for this role is a reasonable estimate, with a goal to pay a competitive market salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education and certification, skills, and internal pay equity.
Position Summary:
The Guest Ambassador serves as the first point of contact for guests entering the Courtyard Homeless Resource Center. This role is responsible for greeting guests, assessing their needs, and directing them to the appropriate services. The Guest Ambassador ensures a welcoming, safe, and organized environment while maintaining accurate records and assisting with operational support as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Engagement & Navigation:
Greet all guests upon arrival and provide a warm, professional welcome. Assess guest needs and direct them to appropriate services, including case management, medical support, or shelter resources. Escort guests to designated service areas when necessary.
Documentation & Data Entry:
Complete necessary intake forms and logs to track guest interactions. Maintain accurate records in the database to ensure proper service tracking. Assist in gathering and reporting data as needed.
Facility Oversight & Support:
Monitor guest flow and ensure the orderly movement of individuals throughout the facility. Collaborate with security and operations staff to address concerns or emergencies. Assist in enforcing Courtyard policies to maintain a safe and respectful environment.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with case managers, security, and other staff to facilitate smooth operations. Provide updates to management regarding guest needs, concerns, and trends observed. Support outreach efforts and engagement activities to enhance guest experience. Other Duties as
Assigned:
Participate in training and team meetings. Assist in additional administrative and operational tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience working in customer service, social services, or a related field is a plus. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse populations Ability to maintain professionalism and deescalate conflicts when necessary. Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation. Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with a compassionate and solutionfocused approach.
Work Environment:
This position requires standing for extended periods and working in an outdoor or semioutdoor environment. Must be able to interact with individuals experiencing homelessness, mental health challenges, and other vulnerabilities. This role is vital in ensuring guests feel supported and receive the services they need efficiently and respectfully.
