Resident Care Coordinator/Concierge The Pavilion at Queens for Rehabilitation & Nursing Flushing, NY Job Details Full-time $22 - $25 an hour 10 days ago Qualifications Customer communication Long term care experience Nursing home experience Long-term care facility experience High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Position Overview The Resident Care Coordinator/Concierge serves as a key ambassador for The Pavilion at Queens, ensuring a warm, welcoming, and professional experience for residents, families, and visitors. As the first point of contact, this role enhances the overall resident experience by delivering exceptional customer service, coordinating key services, and facilitating smooth communication across departments. Key Responsibilities Warmly greet and assist residents, families, and guests in a professional and timely manner. Manage admission agreements for all new residents and oversee the completion of admission intake photos. Respond promptly to resident and family inquiries, addressing concerns directly or connecting them with the appropriate department. Provide up-to-date information on facility amenities, services, daily activities, therapy schedules, and dining options. Assist the Admissions and Marketing teams by conducting facility tours and supporting resident orientation. Perform various administrative and customer service tasks to support daily operations. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. 1-2 years of nursing home experience required Healthcare experience required 1-2 years of working in recreation preferred Comfortable working with a medically complex or disabled population. Ability to demonstrate compassion, patience, professionalism, and effective de-escalation skills in high-stress situations. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities; resident-focused mindset. Bilingual in Spanish or Mandarin is a plus. Schedule Monday-Friday, 9 AM-5 PM.
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
