Position Description:

Concierge/Doorman - Weekend, Saturday & Sunday 10am - 6pm Rego Park, Queens Job description:

Greeting and Welcoming:

Greet guests and residents in a friendly and professional manner upon arrival and departure. Assisting with

Doors and Luggage:

Open doors, carry luggage, and assist with deliveries.

Providing Information:

Offer directions, answer inquiries about the building or local area, and provide information on amenities and services.

Monitoring and Security:

Monitor the entrance, report suspicious activity, and ensure the safety and security of the premises.

Screening and Access Control:

Screen visitors and residents, ensuring only authorized individuals enter the building.

Customer Service:

Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests.

Coordination:

Coordinate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations.

Appearance:

Maintain a clean and ironed uniform at all times.

Additional Duties:

Managing Deliveries:

Accept packages, notify residents of deliveries, and ensure safe storage.

Maintaining Cleanliness:

Keep the entrance area tidy and organized.

Monitoring CCTV and Alarm Systems:

Monitor security systems and report any malfunctions.

Following Safety Protocols:

Ensure fire safety protocols are followed.

Qualifications:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for interacting with residents and guests. Problem-solving abilities to address issues that may arise. Basic knowledge of security protocols and emergency procedures. Proficiency in using communication devices and security systems. Professional appearance and demeanor. Reliability and punctuality are crucial for maintaining building security and service standards. Must be able to lift ~40 lbs. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
