Role:
The Lounge Runner plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of a lounge environment by providing exceptional support to both guests and staff. This position focuses on maintaining cleanliness, organization, and timely service delivery to enhance the overall guest experience. The Lounge Runner acts as a liaison between various departments, facilitating communication and coordination to meet guest needs promptly. By managing inventory, restocking supplies, and assisting with setup and breakdown of lounge areas, the Lounge Runner helps maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere. Ultimately, this role contributes significantly to guest satisfaction and operational excellence within the lounge setting.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts. Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or customer service roles. Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to food and beverage service. Ability to operate basic cleaning equipment and tools. Certification in food handling or safety is a plus. Multilingual abilities to assist a diverse guest population.
Responsibilities:
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lounge area, including seating, tables, and service stations. Assist in setting up and breaking down lounge spaces for events or daily operations. Restock supplies such as beverages, snacks, utensils, and linens to ensure availability at all times. Support lounge staff by delivering items promptly and responding to guest requests efficiently. Coordinate with kitchen, bar, and housekeeping teams to facilitate smooth service flow. Monitor lounge conditions and report any maintenance or safety issues to management. Assist in managing inventory levels and communicate supply needs to supervisors. Provide courteous and professional interactions with guests to enhance their experience.
