This is a hands-on, people-facing role centered on vehicle transportation, lot organization, shop support, and delivering an exceptional client experience from the moment a vehicle arrives until it's safely back with its owner. In addition to the core concierge and lot responsibilities, this role offers the opportunity to cross-train as a backup lube technician. Concierge and lot work will remain the primary focus of the position day-to-day, with lube tech support utilized as needed to keep the shop running smoothly during high-volume periods or staffing gaps. The frequency of lube work will vary, and candidates should be comfortable with the possibility that it may be occasional rather than routine. We're open to candidates who already have lube tech experience as well as those who are eager to learn — a willingness to develop technical skills alongside concierge work is what matters most. Primary Responsibilities (Concierge Driver & Lot Tech) Provide reliable, timely, and safe vehicle pick-up and delivery services, returning client vehicles in the same condition or better than received Coordinate and schedule pick-ups and deliveries in an organized, efficient manner Deliver exceptional customer service and serve as a welcoming first point of contact for clients Collaborate with service advisors, technicians, and management to ensure smooth operational workflow and customer satisfaction Organize and maintain the shop and parking lots, including vehicle placement, cleanliness, and efficient traffic flow Identify and help address facility or equipment maintenance needs as they arise Support inventory management and general shop cleanliness as needed Adhere to all safety and company policies and procedures Secondary Responsibilities (Lube Tech Backup) Perform basic lube tech duties as needed, including oil and filter changes, fluid checks and top-offs, tire rotations, and routine multi-point inspections Follow Green Drop Garage's lube service standards and documentation practices Maintain a clean, organized work area when performing lube services Participate in on-the-job training and skill development to build lube tech proficiency over time Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Customer service experience in a similar client-facing role Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Problem-solving ability and attention to detail Comfortable multitasking and shifting priorities as the day unfolds Proficient with basic computer systems and software for scheduling, data entry, and communication Works well in a team environment Lube tech experience is a plus, but not required — willingness and aptitude to learn is essential Mechanical curiosity and interest in expanding automotive skills Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles Strong communication skills in English Prior work as a driver or at a dealership or automotive service center is advantageous but not required. Join us to be part of a vibrant team committed to delivering outstanding service while supporting sustainable automotive solutions! Physical Requirements This role includes driving, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Lube tech work may involve additional physical demands such as bending, kneeling, and working under vehicles on a lift. Applicants must be able to perform these physical demands. Green Drop Garage is committed to building a diverse team. We welcome and strongly encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, experiences, identities, and abilities. If you're passionate about cars, care about people, and want to work somewhere that values how you show up—not just what you do—we want to meet you.
