Exciting Opportunity with Speak Up for Kids, PBC Nonprofit Organization Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of at-risk youth? ., a nonprofit organization, is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Youth Program Coordinator. In this newly created position, you will be an integral part of the team, dedicated to developing innovative programs that serve the youth in Palm Beach County. In essence, the individual in this role will focus on elevating the support provided to foster youth, aiding them in their transition as they approach the age of leaving the foster care system. Consider this position as an "aging out services concierge" dedicated to guiding and enhancing the overall experience for these teens. Responsibilities Coordinate and support direct service efforts for foster youth and young adults, helping ensure access to critical resources, life skills support, educational guidance, enrichment opportunities, and stabilization services for youth impacted by abuse, neglect, abandonment, and other traumatic experiences. Support the continued growth and enhancement of the Foster Youth Resource Concierge initiative, helping youth successfully navigate transitions related to housing, employment, education, transportation, wellness, and independent living. Build meaningful relationships with foster youth, caregivers, and program participants through ongoing engagement, individualized support, follow-up communication, and connection to community-based resources and services. Collaborate with staff, volunteers, and community partners to identify and respond to the evolving needs of foster youth while helping remove barriers that impact long-term success and stability. Assist with the development and enhancement of the Life Skills Portal and related initiatives designed to empower foster youth transitioning into adulthood through accessible resources, videos, workshops, blogs, and educational content. Coordinate volunteers, mentors, and community supporters who assist with youth engagement, milestone celebrations, resource delivery, and normalcy opportunities that help restore dignity, belonging, and self-worth. Help implement and support outcome measurement strategies to track engagement, participation, service delivery, and program impact. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to strengthen supportive programming related to life skills, workforce readiness, financial literacy, wellness, educational achievement, and community connection. Create engaging content including blogs, videos, interviews, and success stories that highlight youth accomplishments, program impact, and community involvement. Work collaboratively with

STUDENTS

Speak Up For Kids chapters, schools, colleges, and volunteers to develop meaningful service projects, graduation celebrations, and youth-centered initiatives. Assist with the coordination and delivery of gifts, school supplies, enrichment items, emergency needs, and supportive resources to foster youth and caregivers throughout Palm Beach County. Support celebrations and recognition opportunities for youth reaching milestones such as graduations, employment achievements, housing transitions, certifications, and personal accomplishments. Participate in outreach, networking, and collaborative community partnerships that increase awareness and support for foster youth initiatives and direct services. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned to support the continued growth and impact of Speak Up For Kids programs and services. Qualifications Passion for supporting foster youth, young adults, and vulnerable populations through compassionate, solutions-focused service. Self-starter with initiative, creativity, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a mission-driven environment. Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively. Excellent writing and storytelling skills for communication, outreach, and engagement purposes. Experience working with youth, nonprofits, volunteer coordination, education, case management support, or community engagement preferred. Ability to assist with program outcomes, accountability measures, and impact tracking. Comfortable using technology, social media, virtual platforms, and content creation tools. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred Work Arrangement Full-time position with flexibility based on program and event needs. Office, some remote within Palm Beach County, with community engagement, meetings, events, school visits, and occasional in-office responsibilities.
