Job Description
Smart Sitting Family Specialist (Full-Time, Remote) Overview Are you genuine and relationship-driven with a natural ability to connect with people? Do you thrive in a supportive environment where your contributions are truly valued? Are you looking for a remote role that allows you to balance work and life without navigating guilt or unspoken expectations? If so, we'd love to meet you! We are seeking a Family Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be at the heart of connecting families with the childcare they need to help their family thrive. This role is essential in identifying and onboarding "core families" i.e. those most likely to benefit from professional childcare services. You will educate families on market rates for caregivers, standard industry benefits, and best practices while highlighting the value of professionalism in childcare. As a Family Specialist, you will play a key role in generating revenue, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring an exceptional onboarding experience by collaborating with our Family Support Specialist. The Ideal Candidate for this Job The ideal candidate has proven experience in sales, client services, or a related field and you enjoy building strong relationships with people. You are a clear communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and a natural ability to build trust with clients. You're highly organized, manage your time well, and are comfortable juggling multiple conversations and priorities. Being tech-savvy is important, as this role involves regularly using tools like HubSpot, Slack, GSuite, Asana, RingCentral, Avochato, and SignNow. Familiarity with childcare, household staffing, or family services is a strong plus, and experience working with U/HNW families is preferred. Schedule The schedule is generally full-time, Monday through Friday 9 AM - 5/6 PM. Note that there is a great deal of autonomy within the role. As long as you are accountable to the position, the position in and of itself can accommodate occasional flexibility. About the Children The position is working with families. These roles are supporting families who are just beginning their parenting journey and those with older children as well. Responsibilities In this role, you'll help grow and support our client community by identifying and connecting with prospective families—checking in with former clients, reaching out to corporate partner agencies for referrals, and engaging with potential clients on platforms like LinkedIn (while noting that most new families currently come through referrals). You'll take a consultative approach to sales, helping families understand the childcare landscape and advocating for professional caregiver arrangements that truly meet their needs. You'll also guide families through the onboarding process to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience from the very beginning. On the recruitment side, you'll source candidates both from our internal network and through external outreach, conduct interviews, and participate in candidate screening, with additional support from other team members as needed. Throughout the process, you'll collaborate closely with the Family Support Specialist to create a cohesive, high-quality client experience and build lasting relationships with families through thoughtful communication and ongoing support.
Additional Information Our Culture:
