Regional Access Point Coordinator Job Summary:
Overnight Shelter Staff are responsible for providing on-site support to shelter guests and overseeing the facility. They assist guests with daily living tasks, offer emotional support, and ensure the shelter operates smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Resident Support:
Assist guests with daily living tasks, such as personal hygiene, laundry, and meal preparation. Address conflicts between residents and mediate when possible, ensure compliance with safety regulations and organizational policies, and enforce shelter rules and code of conduct in a fair, trauma-informed manner. •
Emotional Support:
Provide crisis intervention and emotional support to guests. •
Facility Oversight:
Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and security of the shelter. •
Intake Process:
Assist with the intake process for new guests; including conducting interviews and assessments. •
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of guest's information and progress.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in social services or related field preferred. •
Experience:
Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial. •
Skills:
Excellent interpersonal skills, strong commitment to social service, ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.

Schedule:
Overnight shift; 9:00pm-5:00am This role is crucial in helping guests transition from homelessness to stable housing and providing a safe and supportive environment.
