Campus Security Attendant

Campus Security Attendant Work Schedule:

Monday- Friday 5-9:30 pm; some Saturdays and Sundays required

Part Time Primary Position Description:

Security Guard for Chapman Cultural Center Inc. during the week and weekends to monitor all activities to ensure safety of all people using the facilities and the buildings and grounds. Employee must be able to handle situations with a variety of people in a positive and helpful manner. Description of Work /

Primary Job Factors:

Provide customer service that is welcoming and helpful to all visitors to CCC. Monitor people as they use the facility and parking lots to ensure their safety and direct them to their proper meeting place. Conduct regular rounds of the facility and parking lots to ensure a security presence. Monitor video surveillance while on campus and follow up on any activities of concern immediately Keep track of building usage and ensure all lights turned out, doors are locked and secure before closing Pick up any debris on-site when making rounds to keep campus looking pristine Never engage in any type of confrontation, if there is any doubt about the situation always call 911, the police always want to be proactive to prevent incidents Assist CCC Rental Coordinator when needed with the setup and breakdown of events on site. This will include the moving of tables, chairs, and other needed items for the event.
