Job Summary Join our compassionate team as a Cemetery Service Counselor, where you will play a vital role in guiding families through one of life's most meaningful journeys. This dynamic position combines heartfelt support, event coordination, and sales responsibilities to ensure families receive respectful, personalized service during their time of need. Your empathetic approach and organizational skills will help create a comforting environment while managing cemetery arrangements. Responsibilities Provide compassionate bereavement support to families, guiding them through cemetery services with sensitivity and professionalism Coordinate and plan memorial events, ensuring all details align with family wishes and cemetery policies Assist families with selecting burial plots, monuments, and related products by offering knowledgeable sales guidance Maintain accurate records of arrangements, sales transactions, and service details for compliance and reporting purposes Support ongoing community outreach efforts to educate families about available services and cemetery offerings Skills Strong experience in bereavement support roles with a compassionate demeanor Proven ability to plan and execute events efficiently under tight timelines Excellent sales skills with the ability to recommend appropriate products and services confidently Exceptional communication skills to provide clear guidance and empathetic support to grieving families Organizational skills to manage multiple arrangements simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating professionalism at all times
