DSI is growing—again! We are currently seeking a Concierge Security Officer in Houston, TX. This position combines traditional security responsibilities with a high level of customer service and administrative support. The ideal candidate is professional, approachable, detail-oriented, and comfortable utilizing technology in a fast-paced environment. Position Summary As a Concierge Security Officer , you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, employees, vendors, and guests. You will help maintain a safe and secure environment while providing exceptional customer service and support. This role requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to utilize computer systems for access control, visitor management, reporting, and communication. Essential Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, employees, and guests Greet and assist visitors while maintaining a professional and welcoming presence Monitor access control systems and verify visitor credentials Maintain a safe and secure environment through patrols and observation Observe, report, and respond to incidents, hazards, and suspicious activity Complete reports, logs, and other required documentation accurately Utilize computer systems for reporting, communication, and access management Follow DSI policies, client requirements, and post instructions Communicate effectively with clients, employees, and management Participate in required training and safety initiatives Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age High school diploma or GED required Previous customer service, concierge, hospitality, front desk, or security experience preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Basic to intermediate computer proficiency, including email and web-based applications Professional appearance and customer-focused demeanor Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Ability to stand, walk, and perform routine patrols as required Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions Must meet all pre-employment and licensing requirements We're looking for individuals who enjoy helping people, are comfortable using technology, communicate professionally, and take pride in providing outstanding customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment.
